TOPIC: Preach The Gospel
MEMORISE: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15
READ: Matthew 10:5-7
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand.
MESSAGE:
“Preach the gospel to the nations” is God’s commission to His children. A fellow must be saved before he or she can preach the gospel. This is because it is impossible to preach what you do not know.
You do not have to be a pastor or have a large audience to preach the gospel. You can start by sharing the word with your mates from your neighbourhood or school, in your classroom, playground, cafeteria, and via your social media platforms. You can share the word of God through any of these mediums and tell people that God loves them.
There are many benefits of preaching the gospel. When you preach the gospel, you will depopulate the kingdom of darkness. You will win souls and be counted as wise (Proverbs 11:30), and you will also get a beautiful crown in heaven
ACTION POINT:
Preach about Jesus on your social media platforms throughout this week.
HYMN 57: Must I Go And Empty Handed?
1 Must I Go And Empty Handed?
Thus My Dear Redeemer Meet?
Not One Day Of Service Give Him,
Lay No Trophy At His Feet?
Refrain:
Must I Go, And Empty-Handed?
Must I Meet My Saviour So?
Not One Soul With Which To Greet Him?
Must I Empty Handed Go?
2 Not At Death I Shrink Or Falter
For My Saviour Saves Me Now
But To Meet Him Empty Handed
Thought Of That Now Clouds My Brow
3 Oh, The Years In Sinning Wasted
Could I But Recall Them Now
I Would Give Them To My Saviour
To His Will I’d Gladly Bow
4 O Ye Saints, Arouse, Be Earnest
Up And Work While Yet ’Tis Day
Ere The Night Of Death O’er Take Thee,
Strive For Souls While Still You May.
