Title: Melody Or Noise?
Memorize: Take away from Me the noise of your songs, for I will not hear the melody of your stringed instruments. Amos 5:23 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: John 4:23-24 (Nkjv)
[23] But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
[24] God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.
Message:
God delights in the praises of His children, but there is a kind of praise that He considers noise.
John 4:24 (Nkjv) says: “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth. ”
You cannot worship God when you are still subject to the dictates of the flesh.
Whenever you sing to God, it must be from a sincere heart that is void of doubt, malice, et cetera.
Anyone who does otherwise is only making noise, and as today’s memory verse says, God will not hear him or her.
The Lord is earnestly looking for worshippers who will worship Him in Spirit and in truth.
Are you one of them? Worship or praise should not be done as though you are being forced; it should be from the stirring of the Holy Spirit.
If you have anger, hatred, or bitterness towards another fellow, purge your heart first, or else your worship will only be noise to God and not a melody.

OPEN HEAVENS FOR TEENS 3 DECEMBER 2024 HYMN 46:
O LORD MY GOD WHEN I’M IN AWESOME WONDER
1. O Lord My God,
When I In Awesome Wonder,
Consider All The Worlds Thy Hands Hath Made
I See The Stars,
I Hear The Rolling Thunder,
Thy Pow’r Thro’out
The Universe Displayed:
Refrain:
Then Sings My Soul,
My Saviour God To Thee;
How Great Thou Art!
How Great Thou Art!
Then Sings My Soul,
My Saviour God To Thee;
How Great Thou Art!
How Great Thou Art!
2. When Through The Woods
And Forest Glades I Wander,
And Hear The Birds
Sing Sweetly In The Trees;
When I Look Down
From Lofty Mountain Grandeur
And Hear The Brook
And Feel The Gentle Breeze;
3. And When I Think
That God, His Son Not Sparing
Sent Him To Die,
I Scarce Can Take It In;
That On The Cross,
My Burdens Gladly Bearing,
He Bled And Died
To Take Away My Sin
4. When Christ Shall Come
With Shouts Of Acclamation,
And Take Me Home,
What Joy Will Fill My Heart!
Then I Will Bow
In Humble Adoration,
And There Proclaim,
My God, How Great Thou Art
