Title: Our Daddy
Memorize: Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Matthew 7:9 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Matthew 6:31-32 (Nkjv)
[31] “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’
[32] For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
Message:
The world today is filled with both intentional and accidental fathers. Some fathers are caring, while some are uncaring and don’t usually take responsibility for their families. However, my Daddy in heaven is the most intentional parent one can ever have; He knows the number of lines on your palm and the number of hair strands you have.
Some fathers are demanding or controlling, but not my Father. If He gives you many options, He will still show you clues on how to choose the right ones. For example, He presented the choices of life and death before the children of lsrael and then advised them to choose life.
My dear child, God scolds and corrects in love, doesn’t hold a grudge or remember past errors, supplies strength in times of weakness, gives beauty for ashes, and turns mourning into dancing. He is the perfect Father who watches out for His children. Will you come to Him and accept His love today?
Prayer Point:
Dear Father, I accept Your invitation to have a deeper relationship with You. Please, draw me close to You, in Jesus’ name l pray.
HYMN 31 – WONDERFUL STORY OF LOVE
1 Wonderful story of love! Tell it to me again;
Wonderful story of love! Wake the immortal strain.
Angels with rapture announce it,
Shepherds with wonder receive it;
Sinner, O won’t you believe it?
Wonderful story of love!
Refrain:
Wonderful! Wonderful!
Wonderful story,
Wonderful story of love!
2 Wonderful story of love!
Though you are far away;
Wonderful story of love!
Still he doth call today.
Calling from Calvary’s mountain,
Down from the crystal bright fountain,
E’en from the dawn of creation;
Wonderful story of love!
3 Wonderful story of love!
Jesus provides a rest;
Wonderful story of love!
For all the pure and blest;
Rest in those mansions above Us,
With those who’ve gone on before Us,
Singing the rapturous chorus;
Wonderful story of love!
