Title: Joy Is Coming
Memorize: For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. Psalm 30:5 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Romans 8:28 (Nkjv)
[28] And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Message:
Amid life’s challenges, it is easy to feel overwhelmed, discouraged, or even hopeless, but I want to remind you of a timeless truth: joy is coming.
No matter the challenges you might be facing right now, there is a promise of joy ahead.
In the Bible, joy is not merely an emotion that is dependent on circumstances; it is a deep-seated confidence in God’s goodness and His promises.
Even when things seem bleak, you can rest assured that God is working all things together for your good.
Galatians 5:22 says that joy is a fruit of the Spirit, and it can only be reinforced by the help of the Holy Spirit.
My dear child, sometimes, God uses our struggles to strengthen our faith and character, ultimately leading to deeper joy and perseverance.
Do not let your joy be based on circumstances but on the unchanging character of God, who is ever faithful.
As you learn to trust in Him, He will fill you with joy and peace that surpasses all understanding.
Key Point:
Keep trusting God and rejoicing in His goodness, knowing that He is faithful to fulfill His promises.
HYMN 4: BE GLAD IN THE LORD AND REJOICE
1 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
All ye that are upright in heart;
And ye that have made him your choice,
Bid sadness and sorrow depart.
Refrain:
Rejoice, rejoice!
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice!
2 Be joyful, for He is the Lord,
On earth and in heaven supreme;
He fashions and rules by His word;
The Mighty and strong to redeem
3 What though in the conffict for right
Your enemies almost prevail,
God’s armies, just hid from your sight,
Are more than the foes which assail.
4 Though darkness surround you by day,
Your sky by the night be o’ercast,
Let nothing your spirit dismay,
But trust till the danger is past.
5 Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
His praises proclaiming in song;
With harp, and with organ and voice
The loud hallelujahs prolong!
