Title: God’s Best Friends Forever (BFFs)
Memorize: And the Scripture was fulfilled which says, “Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.” And he was called the friend of God. James 2:23 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Genesis 18:17-33 (Nkjv)
[17] And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing,
[18] since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?
[19] For I have known him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord, to do righteousness and justice, that the Lord may bring to Abraham what He has spoken to him.”

Message:
You may be surprised to learn that God has best friends. His best friends are so close to Him that they know some things about Him that no one else knows.
They are people with a factual knowledge of Him that most people do not have.
Such people do not like to talk deeply about how much of God they know because those who have not gotten that close to Him might misunderstand them.
One of God’s best friends was Abraham (Genesis 18:17), and Moses was another.
While He was on earth, Jesus also had His ‘BFFs’: Peter, James, and John.
They went with Him to places where others could not, such as Jairus’ house to raise his dead daughter (Mark 5:35-37), the Mount of Transfiguration (Matthew 17:1-2), and the Garden of Gethsemane when He pleaded with God to take the cup of crucifixion away from Him (Matthew 26:36-39).
These three disciples experienced special moments with Jesus Christ that no one else did.
My dear child, you can also experience special moments with Jesus.
All you need to do is to love Him by obeying Him completely, studying His word, meditating on it, and thirsting for His presence. Whenever He gives you an instruction, obey it promptly.
Key Point:
To be God’s ‘BFF’, love Him wholeheartedly.
HYMN: WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN in JESUS
1 What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
2 Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
3 Are we weak and heavy-laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge—
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there
