Title: The Soul Winner
Memorize: The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Luke 10:1-3 (Nkjv)
[1] After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.
[2] Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.
[3] Go your way; behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
Message:
In today’s memory verse, the Bible calls a soul winner ‘wise’. Soul winning is the heartbeat of God, and everyone He saved has a responsibility to bring others into the fold of Christ. Therefore, if you are already born again, do not just be a worker in God’s vineyard. Do not be comfortable with just attending church programs; you need to bear fruits by winning souls.
When I realised that I was on my way to hell and God saved me, I vowed to make Him known throughout the world. This is why I use any opportunity I get to tell others about Jesus, and I want you to start doing the same. If Jesus has saved you from lying, stealing, fornicating, backbiting, et cetera, it is time to tell those who indulge in those sins about the saving grace of Christ so that they will not end up in hell.
My dear child, Jesus is coming back for a people without blemish, spot, or wrinkle. Volunteer to join evangelical outreach teams or groups such as the RCCG Reach4Christ team today so that you can start taking the gospel of peace and holiness to different schools and communities. Also, you can use your social media platforms to spread the gospel.
Key Point:
Wise people win souls.
HYMN 12: ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
1 Onward, Christian
soldiers, marching as to War,
With the cross of Jesus going on before!
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, see his banner go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of JesUs going on before!
2 At the name of Jesus Satan’s host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise!
3 Like a mighty army moves the church of God:
Brothers, we are treading
where the saints have trod;
We are not divided; all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
4 Crowns and thrones may perish,
Kingdoms rise and wane;
But the church Jesus constant will remain:
Gates of hell can never ‘gainst that church prevail
We have Christ’s own promise and that cannot fail
5 0nward, then, ye people,
join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices,
in the triumph song;
Glory, praise and honour,
unto Christ the King;
This through countless ages,
men and angels sing.
