Title: No Premarital S3x
Memorize: Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 1 Corinthians 6:19 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading 1 Corinthians 6:18-20 (Nkjv)
[18] Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
[19] Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
[20] For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Message:
It is God’s desire that you remain s3xually pure until marriage, even in this perverse world. I know that as a teenager, you are experiencing hormonal surges and feelings which may be responsible for some lustful desires. However, as God’s child, you must take a stand for s3xual purity publicly and in your private life.
Some teenagers appear holy in their churches and neighborhoods, yet they lock themselves up in a room when no one is watching to watch pornographic movies or materials that lead them to masturbation. Some even commit fornication and then take pills to prevent unwanted pregnancies so they can appear as though they are Christians without blemish.
My dear child, it is time to take your stand for s3xual purity as a boy or girl. The world is not getting better because the Bible has already told us that perilous times will come, but you must discipline yourself and surround yourself with people who have overcome s3xual temptations so that you will also do the same. Beloved, flee all appearances of evil.
Key Point:
You must take a stand for sexual purity in this perverse world.
HYMN 43: Lead Us Heavenly Father, Lead Us
1 Lead Us, Heavenly Father, Lead Us
O’er The World’s Tempestuous Sea;
Guard Us, Guide Us, Keep Us, Feed Us,
For We Have No Help But Thee,
Yet Possessing Every Blessing
If Our God Our Father Be.
2 Saviour, Breathe Forgiveness O’er Us;
All Our Weakness Thou Dost Know;
Thou Didst Tread This Earth Before Us,
Thou Didst Feel lts Keenest Woe;
Lone And Dreary, Faint And Weary,
Through The Desert Thou Didst Go.
3 Spirit Of Our God, Descending,
Fill Our Hearts With Heavenly Joy,
Love With Every Passion Blending,
Pleasure That Can Never Cloy;
Thus Provided, Pardoned, Guided,
Nothing Can Our Peace Destroy.
