Title: God Can Restore
Memorize: And Adam knew his wife again, and she bore a son and named him Seth, “For God has appointed another seed for me instead of Abel, whom Cain killed.” Genesis 4:25 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Job 42:10 (Nkjv)
[10] And the Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.
Message:
After Abel’s death, Eve experienced God’s grace and intervention with the birth of Seth, whom she saw as a replacement for her dead son.
Eve acknowledged God’s hand in giving her Seth. Her experience points to the fact that God can bring restoration to His children even amid sorrow and loss.
Have you lost your parents or possessions and blamed yourself or God?
My dear child, God is unquestionable. Even though He does not do evil, He sometimes allows some things to happen to check a fellow’s heart.
Learn from Job’s experience; despite his losses and affliction, he never blamed God because he knew that God does not do evil.
Beloved, God has great plans for your life regardless of whatever you have experienced in the past or are currently experiencing.
No matter what you have lost in life, be encouraged that restoration is coming. However, you must trust God completely.
Key Point:
God can bring restoration to His children despite their sorrows.

HYMN 63: O FOR A THOUSAND TONGUES TO SING
1 O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemer’s praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of his grace!
2 My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread thro’ all the earth abroad
The honours of your name.
3 Jesus! the name that charms ourfears,
that bids our sorrows cease,
‘Tis music in the sinner’s ears,
‘Tis life and health and peace.
4 He breaks the power of cancelled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean;
His blood availed for me.
5 Hear Him, ye dear, His praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ
Ye blind behold your Saviour come;
And leap, ye lame, for joy.
