Title: Wisdom For Success
Memorize: Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: James 1:5-8 (Nkjv)
[5] If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
[6] But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
[7] For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
[8] he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.
Message:
Wisdom is a prerequisite for success. According to one dictionary, it is defined as the quality of having experience, knowledge, or good judgment.
No wonder King Solomon asked for wisdom when God told him to request anything; he knew that he would not make good judgements without wisdom.
My dear child, you need wisdom to excel in your academics and in life. Do you know that a student can study so hard for an examination and still end up failing?
This is because only wisdom can guide him or her to answer examination questions accurately.
You can become the best by asking God to grant you wisdom; He gives liberally, so He will answer you.
God has the best wisdom tips for success in every aspect of life.
Prayer Point:
Father, please endow me with wisdom today.
HYMN 33: GUIDE ME, O THOU GREAT JEHOVAH!
1 Guide me, O Thou Great Jehovah!
Pilgrim through this barren land;
I am weak, but Thou art mighty,
Hold me with Thy powerful hand:
Bread of heaven! Bread of heaven!
Feed me now and evermore,
Feed me now and evermore.
2 Open Thou the crystal fountain,
Whence the healing stream doth flow:
Let the fiery, cloudy pillar,
Lead me all my journey through:
Strong deliverer! Strong deliverer!
Be Thou still my strength and shield,
Be Thou still my strength and shield.
3 If I tread the verge of Jordan,
Bid my anxious fears subside:
Bear me through the swelling torrent,
Land me safe on Canaan’s side:
Songs of praises! Song of praises!
I will ever give to Thee,
I will ever give to Thee.
4 Saviour, come! we long to see Thee,
Long to dwell with Thee above;
And to know in full communion,
All the sweetness of Thy love,
Come, Lord Jesus! Come Lord Jesus!
Take Thy waiting people home,
Take Thy waiting people home.
