Title: Don’t Waste Time
Memorize: I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. John 9:4 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: James 4:13-17 (Nkjv)
[13] Come now, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year there, buy and sell, and make a profit”;
[14] whereas you do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away.
[15] Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we shall live and do this or that.”
[16] But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil.
[17] Therefore, to him who knows to do good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Message:
If you are to be productive every day, you must plan the duration of time you will spend on every activity because time, as they say, waits for no one.
When my children were much younger, we constantly had disagreements because they loved to do things at their own convenient time, while I believed otherwise.
Now that they are grown and have their own children, they understand and appreciate the training I gave them on time management and are teaching the same value to their children.
In fact, my personal assistant, who happens to be my son, now hardly sleeps because there are a lot of things we have to do each day for the Lord.
My dear child, everyone on the earth has the same 24 hours, but the difference between individuals is how well they prioritise important activities and stick to their goals.
Stop complaining about not having time when, in actual sense, you waste too much time on social media.
Write out a to-do list every day to guide you through your daily activities and reduce the time you spend on unnecessary activities, such as watching movies and surfing through the internet.
Key Point:
Time management is key to achieving your goals.
HYMN 55: CHRISTIAN, SEEK NOT YET REPOSE
1. Christian, Seek Not Yet Repose;
Hear Thy Guardian Angel Say,
“Thou Art In The Midst Of Foes:
Watch And Pray!”
2. Principalities And Powers,
Mustering Their Unseen Array,
Wait For Thy Unguarded Hours:
“Watch And Pray.”
3. Gird Thy Heavenly Armour On;
Wear It Every Night And Day
Ambush’d Lies The Evil One:
“Watch And Pray.”
4. Hear The Victors Who O’ercame;
Still They Mark Each Warrior’s Way;
All With One Sweet Voice Exclaim,
“Watch And Pray!”
5. Hear, Above All, Hear Thy Lord,
Him Thou Lovest To Obey;
Hide Within Thy Heart His Word:
“Watch And Pra!.”
6. Watch, As If On That Alone
Hung The Issue Of The Day;
Pray, That Help May Be Sent Down:
Watch And Pray
