Title: The Living Seed

Bible Reading: Mark 4:26-29 (Nkjv)
[26] And He said, “The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,
[27] and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how.
[28] For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head.
[29] But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come”
Message:
In the parable of the sower, Jesus explained the different categories of people who receive God’s word.
The last category is the people who receive God’s word (the seed) on good soil (their hearts), where it germinates and brings forth good fruits.
Whenever a fellow hears God’s word, the fellow must prepare his or her heart to receive the nutrients in the word by being openminded.
Many young people make the mistake of reaching a conclusion about the content of their pastor’s message from its title; hence, they don’t listen attentively.
They fail to understand the place of revelation from the Holy Spirit that brings deliverance through the living word.
My dear child, I implore you to listen to messages attentively and meditate on them afterwards because when you do, the word will be nurtured in your heart to bring forth fruit.
The word can only abide when you meditate on it and produce fruit, which can either be in the form of repentance or positive change.

Father, please endow me with wisdom today.
