Title: Sure Safety
Memorize: and release those who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. Hebrews 2:15 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Galatians 4:4-7 (Nkjv)
[4] But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law,
[5] to redeem those who were under the law, that we might receive the adoption as sons.
[6] And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba, Father!”
[7] Therefore you are no longer a slave but a son, and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.
Message:
I suffered a lot at the hands of the devil and his agents before I was redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ.
I sincerely thank God for the salvation of my soul. Fear was a major source of my torment before I met Jesus Christ.
This fear was passed on to me by my mother, who, by the grace of God, became saved before she was called to glory.
Due to her fear that her only son might be killed by village witches and wizards, she sent me far away from my hometown, and I did not return for about 13 years!
When I surrendered my life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, I realised that Satan and his cohorts monitor their target everywhere, even if he or she runs into hole.
The only safety anyone can enjoy is in Jesus. When I hid myself in the blood of Jesus, my life became untouchable to the enemy.
My dear child, note that evil happens everywhere, even in many ‘secure’ environments.
However, God has assured you that as long as you abide in Him, you will remain safe.
If you are yet to surrender your life to Jesus, do so today, and stop dillydallying.
Action Point:
ldentify any fear that might be lingering in your heart and confront them in the name of Jesus.
HYMN: 61 TAKE THE NAME OF JESUS WITH YOU
1 Take the name of Jesus with you,
Child of sorrow and of woe.
It will joy and comfort give you,
Take it then where’er you go.
Chorus:
Precious name, O how sweet!
Hope of earth and joy of heaven;
Precious name, O how sweet!
Hope of earth and joy of heaven.
2 Take the name of JesUs ever
As a shield from evr’y snare;
If temptations ’round you gather,
Breathe that holy name in prayer.
3 Oh, the precious name of Jesus,
How it thrills our souls with joy,
When His loving arms receive us,
And His songs Our tongues employ!
4 At the name of Jesus bowing,
Falling prostrate at His feet
King of kings, in heaven we’ll crown Him
When our journey is complete.
