Title: Make Heaven Rejoice
Memorize: I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:7 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: John 15:8 (Nkjv)
[8] By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
Message:
Today is Christmas Day, and I am sure many Christians around the world are celebrating.
This is fine, but please do not forget to give the Celebrant of the day (Jesus) something to celebrate as well.
Today’s memory verse says that there is rejoicing in heaven over every soul that comes to Christ. If you win a soul, then a feast will be declared in heaven because of you.
All Jesus wants is for His coming to the world (which we are celebrating today) to not be in vain.
Therefore, you should tell someone about Christ today. If you post pictures on your social media platforms today, add a message that will speak to unbelievers as well.
When you give to the poor, chip in a message about the gospel. I do not think there is a better way to celebrate Christmas than to please the One we are celebrating, and believe me, Jesus will smile at you for doing this.
As for me, Christmas and Easter are major times for evangelism. I am always on the streets giving heaven reasons to rejoice on those days, and in return, Jesus has been giving me reasons to rejoice as well.
My dear child, make a decision to emulate my actions this season so that you can also get similar results. Merry Christmas!
Action Point:
Tell someone about Jesus today.
HYMN 16: PRAISE HIM, PRAISE HIM JESUS OUR BLESSED REDEEMER
1 Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer!
Sing, O earth, His wonderful love proclaim!
Hail Him, hail Him! Highest angels in glory!
Strength and honor give to His holy name!
Like a shepherd, Jesus will guard his children.
In His arms He carries them all day long.
O ye saints that dwell on the mountain of zion
Praise Him! praise Him!
Ever in joyful song!
2 Praise Him! praise Him! Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,
For our sins He suffered and bled and died;
He, our Rock, our Hope of eternal salvation,
Hail Him! hail Him! Jesus, the Crucified;
Loving Savior, meekly enduring sorrow,
Crowned with thorns that cruelly pierced His brow;
Once for us rejected, despised, and forsaken,
Prince of Glory, ever triumphant now.
3 Praise Him! praise Him!
Jesus, our blessed Redeemer,
Heav’nly portals, loud with hosannas ring!
Jesus, Savior, reigneth for ever and ever;
Crown Him! crown Him! Prophet and Priest and King!
Death is vanquished! Tell it with joy, ye faithful,
Where is now thy victory, boasting grave?
Jesus lives! No longer thy portals are cheerless;
Jesus lives, the mighty and strong to save.
