Title: The Waiting Room
Memorize: The Lord is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him. Lamentations 3:25 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Ecclesiastes 3:1-11 (Nkjv)
[1] To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven:
[2] A time to be born, And a time to die; A time to plant, And a time to pluck what is planted;
[3] A time to kill, And a time to heal; A time to break down, And a time to build up;
[4] A time to weep, And a time to laugh; A time to mourn, And a time to dance;
[5] A time to cast away stones, And a time to gather stones; A time to embrace, And a time to refrain from embracing;
[6] A time to gain, And a time to lose; A time to keep, And a time to throw away;
[7] A time to tear, And a time to sew; A time to keep silence, And a time to speak;
[8] A time to love, And a time to hate; A time of war, And a time of peace.
[9] What profit has the worker from that in which he labors?
[10] I have seen the God-given task with which the sons of men are to be occupied.
[11] He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.
Message:
Waiting is tough, especially when life feels like it’s on hold, and you’re eager for answers or the next step. It can be frustrating and lonely, but the Bible reminds us that waiting is not wasted time. Psalm 27:14 encourages us to “Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD!”
Waiting can feel like nothing is happening, but behind the scenes, God is working. Think of a waiting room. It is not just a place to sit idly; it’s where you prepare for what’s next. Seasons of waiting can be moments of growth and preparation. God often uses your seasons of waiting to shape your character, deepen your faith, and align your heart to flow with His purpose.
My dear child, if you are waiting on God for academic, career, or business success, don’t just fold your hands; get into action by engaging in legitimate things. Also, pray and meditate on God’s word. Ask Him to show you the lessons in your season of waiting and give you the grace to resist any temptation to find alternative routes. I pray that God will grant you the grace to wait patiently on Him in your seasons of waiting, in Jesus’ name.
Key Point:
The waiting season is the time for a fellow to grow spiritually and emotionally.

Hymn 15: Pass Me Not, O Gentle Saviour
1 Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
do not pass me by.
Refrain:
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others Thou art calling,
do not pass me by.
2 Let me at a throne of mercy
find a sweet relief,
kneeling there in deep contrition;
help my unbelief. [Refrain]
3 Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
heal my wounded, broken spirit,
save me by Thy grace. [Refrain]
4 Thou, the Spring of all my comfort,
more than life to me;
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in heav’n but Thee? [Refrain]
