Title: From The Heart
Memorize: But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing Matthew 6:3 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Matthew 6:3-4 (Nkjv)
[3] But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing,
[4] that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
Message:
True giving is not about seeking attention or recognition; it comes from a heart of love and sincerity. The Bible teaches us that acts of generosity should be done quietly, without a desire for public praise, because God sees and rewards those who give in secret.
During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, many churches quietly supported the less privileged without publicising their acts of kindness. This is the kind of giving that pleases God, one that is motivated by love rather than the desire for applause. When you give to the needy or help someone without mentioning it to another anoth person, God Himself will reward you.
My dear child, from today, look out for opportunities to give, whether through your time, talents, or resources. Give selflessly without expecting anything in return because God does not measure the size of your gift but the sincerity of your heart. When you give from your heart, God will bless you beyond your imagination.

Hymn 4: Revive Thy Work, O Lord
1 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
Thy mighty arm make bare;
speak with the voice that wakes the dead,
and make Thy people hear.
Refrain:
Revive Thy work, O Lord,
while here to Thee we bow;
descend, O gracious Lord, descend!
O come and bless us now.
2 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
now let us thirst for Thee;
and hung’ring for the bread of life
may all our spirits be.
[Refrain]
3 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
exalt Thy precious name;
and, by the Holy Ghost, our love
for Thee and Thine inflame.
[Refrain]
4 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
give pow’r unto Thy word;
grant that Thy blessed gospel may
in living faith be heard.
[Refrain]
5 Revive Thy work, O Lord,
and give refreshing show’rs;
the glory shall be all Thine own,
the blessing, Lord, be ours.
[Refrain]
