TOPIC: Trust God’s Timing
MEMORISE: Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord! Psalm 27:14
BIBLE READING: Isaiah 40:28-31 (KJV)
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.
MESSAGE:
Trusting in God’s timing can be difficult, especially when you desire immediate answers. You must always remember, however, that God knows what is best for you and the perfect time for everything to happen. When I instructed my children to fast and pray for 100 days last year, many people mocked us, questioning the need for such a long period of fasting. Today, many of my children are sharing incredible testimonies as a result of their obedience and patience. That is proof that God rewards those who trust His timing.
Although waiting may seem difficult, God provides the strength to endure such periods when He sees your sincerity and thirst for Him. If you trust His timing, you will experience peace and an assurance of answered prayers. Even when you don’t understand why some events happen, you will know that God is working behind the scenes for your good.
My dear child, another fast is on, and I encourage you to join in and pray like never before. Rest assured that God is in control of your life; when you keep waiting on Him and trusting His timing, He will definitely come through for you.
Quiz: Even though waiting on God’s timing may seem difficult, He provides the to endure such periods.
KEY POINT:
God’s timing always brings the best outcome.
HYMN 8: Through The Love Of God Our Saviour
1 Through the love of God our Saviour,
all will be well.
Free and changeless is his favour,
all, all is well.
Precious is the blood that healed us,
perfect is the grace that sealed us,
strong the hand stretched forth to shield us,
all must be well.
2 Though we pass through tribulation,
all will be well.
Ours is such a full salvation,
all, all is well.
Happy, still in God confiding,
fruitful, if in Christ abiding,
holy, through the Spirit’s guiding,
all must be well.
3 We expect a bright tomorrow,
all will be well.
Faith can sing through days of sorrow,
‘All, all is well.’
On our Father’s love relying,
Jesus every need supplying,
in our living, in our dying,
all must be well.
