Title: The Reality Of Heaven
Memorize: Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness Like the stars forever and ever. Daniel 12:3 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: John 14:1-3 (Nkjv)
[1] Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.
[2] In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
[3] And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.
Message:
Heaven is a real and glorious place prepared by God for those who believe in Him and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
As believers, it is our eternal home with God, where Jesus awaits us.
It is also a place of eternal joy and glory for people who faithfully follow God and lead others to Him.
I eagerly look forward to making it to heaven because the Bible gives a beautiful description of its splendour in Revelation 21:4 (KJV):
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
My dear child, heaven is free from pain, sorrow, and death; it is filled with eternal peace and the glorious presence of God.
The question, however, is, are you prepared for heaven? When a person is heaven-conscious, he or she will strive to live a holy life daily and preach the gospel, thereby spreading God’s love to others.
If you aren’t heaven-conscious yet, I implore you to have a change of heart today. I pray that I will see you in heaven, in Jesus’ name.
Reflection:
When Jesus comes, will you go with Him?
HYMN 5: PASS ME NOT, O GENTLE SAVIOR
1 Pass me not, O gentle Savior,
hear my humble cry;
While on others Thou art calling,
do not pass me by.
Refrain:
Savior, Savior, hear my humble cry;
while on others Thou art calling,
do not pass me by.
2 Let me at a throne of mercy
find a sweet relief,
kneeling there in deep contrition;
help my unbelief. [Refrain]
3 Trusting only in Thy merit,
Would I seek Thy face;
heal my wounded, broken spirit,
save me by Thy grace. [Refrain]
4 Thou, the Spring of all my comfort,
more than life to me;
Whom have I on earth beside Thee?
Whom in heav’n but Thee? [Refrain]
