Title: Hold On To God’s Promise

Bible Reading: Hebrews 10:35-39 (Nkjv)
[35] Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward.
[36] For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise:
[37] “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry.
[38] Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.”
[39] But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.
Message:
There will be times in your life when God’s promises to you will seem delayed. There will also be times when your dreams and ambitions will seem to be very far from being achieved. In such times, the natural reaction will be to become weary, impatient, or doubtful. However, as a child of God, your reaction should be different.
As Christians, we are called to a life of unshakeable faith in God; however, faith doesn’t just come to us. The Bible says that faith comes by hearing the word of God (Romans 10:17). Therefore, you must build up your faith by daily feasting on God’s word. By studying and meditating on God’s word consistently, you will build the capacity to trust God deeply enough to know that He can never fail you, no matter the challenges that come your way.
There is always an appointed time with God. This is why the Bible says that He makes everything beautiful in its time (Ecclesiastes 3:11). Therefore, my dear child, build up the capacity to faithfully wait on God to bring His promises to fulfilment in your life in His Own time.

How often do you build up your faith by studying and meditating on the Word of God?
