Title: Are You On The Right Side?
Memorize: Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies). Exodus 32:26 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading (Nkjv): Exodus 32:25-26
[25] Now when Moses saw that the people were unrestrained (for Aaron had not restrained them, to their shame among their enemies).
[26] Then Moses stood in the entrance of the camp, and said, “Whoever is on the Lord’s side—come to me!” And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together to him.
Message:
As the world gradually moves towards the end, there’s an urgent call for a distinction between the children of God and the children of the devil. You hear people debate the word of God with the conclusion that what is poisonous for one fellow may be meat for another. Nowadays, the line between right and wrong is fast fading away and the concept of relativism is gaining grounds among Christians.
In these times, you have to be careful about guarding your salvation jealously, staying on God’s side, and shunning every form of backsliding. When you are not where you should be, you are on the wrong side. When Jesus ascended into Heaven, the disciples went back to fishing for fish instead of souls. Jesus had compassion yet again and appeared to them, then, He sent the Holy Spirit to them in the upper room, and they became pillars of the gospel.
As a child of God, you must always strive to be on the right side, doing His will, obeying His word, and walking according to His ways.
Prayer Point:
Please help me always to be on Your side, in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 15 – ONWARD, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
1. Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before;
Christ, the Royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See His banners go.
CHORUS
Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before.
2. At the name of Jesus
Satan’s host doth Ilee;
On then, Christian soldiers
On to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver
At the shout of praise:
Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise.
3. Like a mighty army
Moves the Church of God:
Brothers, we are treading
Where the saints have trod.
We are not divided,
All one body we
One in hope and doctrine,
One in charity.
4. Crowns and thrones may perish
Kingdoms rise and wane;
But the Church of Jesus
Constant will remain:
Gates of hell can never
‘Gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise-
And that cannot fail.
5. Onward then, ye people,
Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song:
“Glory, praise and honor,
Unto Christ the King”,
This, through countless ages,
Men and angels sing.
