Title: The Sin of Not Winning Souls
Memorize: And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Ezekiel 33:7-9 (Nkjv)
[7] So you, son of man: I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear a word from My mouth and warn them for Me.
[8] When I say to the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you shall surely die!’ and you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
[9] Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he does not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
Message:
Anyone who is hungry for righteousness will be filled because Jesus said in John 6:35 that He is the bread of life and whosoever hungers and thirsts for Him shall never be hungry or thirsty.
To hunger for righteousness means to have a longing for God. It also means to seek Him wholeheartedly and want Him more than life. This was what earned David the title ‘A man after God’s heart’ (Acts 13:22). David compared his longing after God to that of a deer that longs for water (Psalm 42:1). Research has shown that the deer sweats a lot, which results in itching. When the deer’s body itches, it becomes desperate to get into the water in order to soothe its hide. At that time, it would take any risk in the jungle just to get into water. This is the kind of desperation for righteousness that God expects from every child of His. He expects us to hunger for righteousness since He is righteousness personified.
My child, rather than long after food or material things, crave righteousness and watch God supply other things to you as promised in His word (Matthew 6:33). Thirst for righteousness and get living water that flows from the throne of God.

HYMN 21 – Nearer, My God To Thee
1 Nearer, my God to Thee,
Nearer to Thee;
E’en though it be a cross
That raiseth me,
Still all my song shall be,
Nearer, my God, to Thee,(2ce)
Nearer to Thee!
2 Though, like the wanderer,
The sun gone down,
Darkness be over me,
My rest a stone,
Yet in my dreams I’d be
Nearer, my God, to Thee,(2ce)
Nearer to Thee
3 There let the way appear
Steps unto heaven;
All that Thou send’st to me
In mercy given,
Angels to beckon me
Nearer, my God, to Thee, (2ce)
Nearer to Thee
4 Then with my waking thoughts
Bright with thy praise,
Out of my stony grief
Bethel Ill raise;
So by my woes to be
Nearer, my God to thee, (2ce)
Nearer to Thee
5 Or if on joyful wing
Cleaving thy sky.
Sun, moon, and stars forgot,
Upwards I fly
Still all my songs shall be,
Nearer my God to thee, (2ce)
Nearer to Thee!
