MESSAGE
Mountains are generally known M to be very big, tall, and heavy, and they cannot be moved. Christians often refer to a mountain as a problem or an obstruction to miracles. However, a mountain can also be a stepping stone to one’s next level. The mountain before you now may be all you need to climb in order to see God’s plan for your future.
When I newly became a Christian, someone suggested that I fast for three days. It appeared suicidal to me, so I told him I only fasted 6:00 am to 12:00 noon on Good Fridays. However, when I became the General Overseer, fasting became a lifestyle as I used to confront and surmount many mountains. When things are going well, many Christians fail to pray, so God uses tough challenges to bring them back to Himself.
Beloved, how do you see that challenge you are facing? Do you see it as a problem or a solution to other problems? A mountain will take the form you see it to be. However, if you let God, that mountain will be the pedestal to your success.
PRAYER POINT
Father, turn every mountain in my life to stepping stones to my success, in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 6 – My Hope Is Built On Nothing Less
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
CHORUS
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
2. When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
3. His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
