TOPIC: FRESH OIL
MEMORISE: But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Psalm 92:10
READ: Psalms 92:10-15
10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.
11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.
12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;
15 To shew that the LORD is upright: he is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.
MESSAGE
The word ‘fresh’ can mean ‘new impact’. For example, when a fellow goes for a refresher course, it is the same person and course, but now, he or she is doing it to make a new impact.
When God anoints you with fresh oil, you become empowered to make greater positive impacts in your family, school, church, or neighborhood. It is an anointing that distinguishes your endeavors and makes you exceptional. One of my sons operated in this dimension of fresh oil when, as a graduate who couldn’t get a good job, he started home lessons for children in his environment. Before long, those children began doing well in their schools, then information spread around the neighborhood, and more people enrolled their children with him. Soon, he couldn’t handle them alone, so he started employing other teachers to join him. Shortly after, he established his own school and employed qualified teachers to work for him.
Beloved, you need to thirst for fresh oil today so that you can move from one level of glory to a higher one in your life, career, business, ministry, and other areas.
KEY POINT
Father, please anoint me with fresh oil today.
HYMN 5 – Jesus, My Lord, My God, My All
1. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
Hear me, blest Savior, when I call;
Hear me, and from Thy dwelling place
Pour down the riches of Thy grace;
CHORUS
Jesus, my Lord, I Thee adore;
Oh make me love Thee more and more.
2. Jesus, too late I Thee have sought;
How can I love Thee as I ought?
And how extol Thy matchless fame,
The glorious beauty of Thy name?
3. Jesus, what didst Thou find in me,
That Thou hast dealt so lovingly?
How great the joy that Thou hast brought
So far exceeding hope or thought!
4. Jesus, of Thee shall be my song,
To Thee my heart and soul belong;
All that I have or am is Thine,
And Thou, blest Savior, Thou art mine.
