Title: No More Excuses
Memorize: Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, Proverbs 6:6 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Proverbs 6:6-8 (Nkjv)
[6] Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise,
[7] Which, having no captain, Overseer or ruler,
[8] Provides her supplies in the summer, And gathers her food in the harvest.
Message:
Your size, disabilities, or weaknesses should not limit you from being successful in life.
If the Bible considers ants to be wise, it is because they do not allow their stature to limit them.
An example of a fellow who wasn’t limited by his stature is Apostle Paul.
Research hints that he was very short that he could pass for a dwarf.
However, his petite stature did not prevent his gigantic achievements. He achieved more than his peers; in fact, he wrote more books than anyone in the New Testament.
If anyone had a reason not to be outstanding, it was Paul.
Beloved, I want you to learn from Paul: never limit yourself. You have all it takes to excel; all you have to do is to fully tap into your potential.
You have no excuse for not achieving your goals. If little ants can be an inspiration, you can also be one with the help of God.
Key Point:
You have what it takes to achieve great feats in life.
HYMN 5 – JESUS, MY LORD, MY GOD, MY ALL
1. Jesus, my Lord, my God, my all,
Hear me, blest Saviour, when I call;
Hear me, and from Thy dwelling place
Pour down the riches of Thy grace;
CHORUS
Jesus, my Lord, I Thee adore;
Oh make me love Thee more and more.
2. Jesus, too late I Thee have sought;
How can I love Thee as I ought?
And how extol Thy matchless fame,
The glorious beauty of Thy name?
3. Jesus, what didst Thou find in me,
That Thou hast dealt so lovingly?
How great the joy that Thou hast brought
So far exceeding hope or thought!
4. Jesus, of Thee shall be my song,
To Thee my heart and soul belong;
All that I have or am is Thine,
And Thou, blest Saviour, Thou art mine.
