[8] Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Message:
The second coming of Christ is fast approaching, but many people are getting weary while waiting.
Beloved, you must be alert and on guard in this end time because the signs recorded in the Bible are already being manifested.
Sooner or later, my Lord and Saviour will appear in the sky, and only those who are watching in holiness and righteousness wil be taken up into the sky.
To watch means to guard and observe Someone or something, while to pray means to humbly plead for help.
This implies that you must always be on your toes by being careful of your actions, thoughts, and words.
You must watch those you associate and relate with, and do away with anyone or anything that would make you displease God.
Also, you Five out of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:8- 12 were careless about their lives at the last minute.
This made them lose the opportunity to enter into eternal rest with the bridegroom.
My dear child, do not let anyone deceive you; Jesus will come back again, and only those who stand faithfully will go with Him.
I pray that you will finish must pray always, asking this race well, in Jesus’ name.
Prayer Point:
Father, please give me the grace to watch and pray until Jesus comes.
