Title: Male And Female
Memorize: So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. Genesis 1:27
Bible Reading: Genesis 1:26-28
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
Message:
One of my children in the Lord applied for a position in a renowned international organization, and during the application process, the online application interface asked for her gender. When she clicked the options menu, the interface came up with more than 25 different gender options. She was surprised at how confused and perverse the world had become.
Today’s Bible reading makes it perfectly clear that God made man in His image, and He created them male and female. Hence, when it comes to the issue of identity, you should not be unnecessarily confused.
I once read online that a fourteen-year-old sued his dad for referring to him as ‘son’ instead of ‘child’. His school supported the idea that children were at liberty to choose their gender regardless of their physical characteristics.
As your father who is not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, I must frankly tell you that Satan has brought a lot of confusion into the world today so that even the very elect of God would not make it to heaven. There are only two genders – male and female. Do not be misled.
Key Point:
You are either a male or a female.
Hymn 60 – Most Ancient Of All Mysteries
1 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Before Thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.
2 When heav’n and earth were yet unmade,
When time was yet unknown,
Thou in Thy bliss and majesty
Didst live and love alone.
3 Thou wert not born; there was no fount
From which Thy Being flowed;
There is no end which Thou canst reach;
But Thou art simply God.
4 How wonderful creation is,
The work which Thou didst bless,
And O what then must Thou be like,
Eternal loveliness!
5 O listen then, most pitiful,
To Thy poor creature’s heart:
It blesses Thee that Thou art God,
That Thou art what Thou art.
6 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Still at thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.
