Title: The Faith Of A Child
Memorize: Now the just shall live by faith; but if anyone draws back, my soul has no pleasure in him. Hebrews 10:38 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Mark 11:23-24 (Nkjv)
[23] For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
[24] Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Message:
I once heard the story of a young girl who lived in a town in Nigeria where the state government wanted to construct a new road.
After the survey was done, the construction engineers told the town’s king that a big tree stood in their way.
The young girl heard about it and remembered that her teacher had taught her during Sunday school that believers have the ability to move mountains if they believe.
She went to the tree, touched it, and shouted, “In the name of Jesus, be uprooted and cast into the sea.”
The following month, to her utmost amazement, the engineers had cut down and uprooted the tree, and the road construction began.
That singular event boosted the young girl’s faith from then on.
My dear child, you are the apple of God’s eye, and your Father wants you to believe that whatever you ask in His name and according to His will concerning your family, academics, community, or neighbourhood will be done unto you. Therefore, ask in faith!
Action Point:
For the next ten minutes, decree positive things concerning every area of your life in faith
HYMN 4 – CHRIST IS OUR CORNER-STONE
1. Christ is our Comer-stone;
On Him alone we build;
With His true Saints alone
The courts of Heaven are filled;
On His great Love
Our hopes we place
Of present grace,
And joys above.
2. Oh, then with hymns of praise
These hallow’d courts shall ring:
Our voices we will raise,
The Three in One to sing;
And thus proclaim
In joyful song,
Both loud and long,
That glorious Name.
3. Here, gracious God, do Thou
For evermore draw nigh;
Accept each faithful vow,
And mark each suppliant sigh;
In copious shower
On all who pray,
Each holy day,
Thy blessings pour.
4 Here may we gain from Heaven,
The grace which we implore,
And may that grace, once given
Be with us evermore;
Until that day,
When all the blest,
To endless rest
Are call’d away
