Title: Benefits of Praising God
Memorize: So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets. And it happened when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout. Joshua 6:20a (NKJV)
Bible Reading: Revelation 4:9-11 (NKJV)
[9] Whenever the living creatures give glory and honor and thanks to Him who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever,
[10] the twenty-four elders fall down before Him who sits on the throne and worship Him who lives forever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
[11] “You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things,
And by Your will they exist and were created.”
MESSAGE
God is happy whenever His children praise Him, and this moves Him to grant their requests. Praise can be in the form of singing, dancing, shouting for joy, et cetera. Whichever style you choose, praising God is giving honor to Him, and it is the most powerful instrument to move God. As a matter of fact, the entire creation was made to praise God. When you get to heaven, the one assignment you will have forever is praising God. He personally inhabit the praises of His children. Praise will move God to stand so as to help bless, deliver, save, and defend you
Praises bring victory, as seen in our memory verse for today. When the enemies think that they have blocked your way or captured you, praise God, and He will deliver you. Praise causes overnight miracles. When you praise God, it makes Go happy because you remind Him how powerful He is.
Action Point:
Praise God today for the next 30 minutes.
HYMN 10 – PRAISE, MY SOUL, THE KING OF HEAVEN
- Praise, my soul, the King of heaven;
To His feet your tribute bring.
Ransom’d, heal’d, restor’d, forgiven,
Who like thee His praises should sing?
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Praise the everlasting King! - Praise Him for His grace and favor
To our fathers in distress.
Praise Him, still the same as ever,
Slow to chide, and swift to bless.
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Glorious in His faithfulness! - Father-like He tends and spares us; Well our feeble frame He knows.
In His hands He gently bears us,
Rescues us from all our foes.
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Widely yet His mercy flows! - Angels, help us to adore Him; Ye behold Him face to face.
Sun and moon, bow down before Him,
Dwellers all in time and space.
Praise Him! Praise Him!
Praise with us the God of grace!
