Title: His Ways, Not Yours
Memorize: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Proverbs 3:5-6 (Nkjv)
[5] Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
[6] In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.
Message:
‘His ways, not yours’ is a phrase that captures the essence of surrendering to God and trusting fully in His plan, even when it is different from your own plans or expectations.
One of my sons in the Lord studied engineering at a university abroad and even went ahead to obtain a master’s degree.
However, he decided to decline job offers from multinational companies to go into full-time ministry.
When I asked him if he thought he made the right decision, he replied that God was the One leading Him in that direction, and he was ready to obey even though it was hard.
Today, the parish he was assigned to pastor has grown in leaps and bounds to the glory of God. Apparently, God was preparing him for something bigger than his profession, which he is now grateful for.
Are you wondering why you are going through some situations now? Are you wondering if your admission to study a different course from what you applied for was a wrong step?
My dear child, God has a plan for your life, and as long as you stay with Him, your destiny is secured.
Prayer Point:
Father, help me to trust and obey You always.

HYMN 53: ‘TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS
1 ’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His word;
Just to rest upon His promise;
Just to know, Thus saith the Lord.
Refrain:
Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him,
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious Jesus!
O for grace to trust Him more.
2 O how sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to trust His cleansing blood;
Just in simple faith to plunge me,
’Neath the healing, cleansing flood.
3 Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just from sin and self to cease;
Just from Jesus simply taking
Life, and rest, and joy, and peace.
4 I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,
Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;
And I know that Thou art with me,
Wilt be with me to the end.
