Title: Keep Your Heart
Memorize: A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and an evil man out of the evil treasure brings forth evil things. Matthew 12:35 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Proverbs 4:20-27 (Nkjv)
[20] My son, give attention to my words;
Incline your ear to my sayings.
[21] Do not let them depart from your eyes;
Keep them in the midst of your heart;
[22] For they are life to those who find them,
And health to all their flesh.
[23] Keep your heart with all diligence,
For out of it spring the issues of life.
[24] Put away from you a deceitful mouth,
And put perverse lips far from you.
[25] Let your eyes look straight ahead,
And your eyelids look right before you.
[26] Ponder the path of your feet,
And let all your ways be established.
[27] Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil.
Message:
Keeping your heart is being careful of what you allow into your heart.
The Bible says that “out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks” (Luke 6:45).
If you do not think of positive things, you cannot speak positively.
As a child of God, it is not all information that you should take in, neither should you consider every piece of advice.
Be careful of what you allow into your heart.
The Bible says in Proverbs 23:7: “For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, but his heart is not with you.”
What you think is who you are. If you always think of failure, you are bound to fail.
If you associate with friends who use vulgar words often, you will most likely use those words.
My dear child, when God is in your heart, you will think, act, and live right. Therefore, fill your heart with God’s word.

HYMN 3 – ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER
1. All to Jesus I surrender
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
CHORUS
I surrender all.
I surrender all:
All to Thee, my blessed savior
I surrender all
2. All to Jesus I surrender,
Humbly at His feet I bow;
Worldly pleasures all forsaken.
Take me, Jesus, take me now.
3. All to Jesus I surrender.
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me.
4. All to Jesus I surrender,
Now I feel the sacred flame
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory to His name!
