Memorize: This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. Joshua 1:8 (Nkjv)

Message:
Some parents put Bibles underneath their children’s pillows so they can have good dreams as they lay their heads on it.
In fact, some Nigerian movies present this in a funny way when a demonic person confronts a Christian and the latter holds the Bible as a Sword and is performing some spiritual martial arts.
The only word that works is the one that you commit to your heart, confess and believe in.
One of the weapons available to God’s children to live victorious lives is the Sword of the Spirit, that is, the word of God.
Whenever it is correctly applied to a given situation, the Holy Spirit uses the sword to deliver victory in that situation.
This is why you must be intentional about reading and memorizing Scripture verses.
When Jesus was tempted by the devil, He spoke the word to combat Him: He didn’t hold a scroll in His hand and wave it at the devil. He kept saying: “It is written…”. How much of God’s word is in your heart?
