Title: Respect For Time

Memorize: To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven: Ecclesiastes 3:1 (Nkjv)

Bible Reading Job 10: 20-21 (Nkjv):

[20] Are not my days few? Cease! Leave me alone, that I may take a little comfort,

[21] Before I go to the place from which I shall not return, to the land of darkness and the shadow of death,

Message:

Job lamented to God, “how many days are there on earth that I will continue to go through these evil times without ending? Let me have a break so that I can recover from my trial”.

Are you or anyone in your family going through an unpalatable moment that you can’t tell anyone? I can assure you that it will surely end in praise, and this problem will pass away.

No problem can extend its lifespan because everything has its season. Life itself is like a vapour, the fellow you see today may not be around anymore in the next five years; this is why you must be prudent with time.

Only God knows how much He has allocated to each fellow, hence, get a serious approach to life.

A popular nursery rhyme says: “Tick, tick says the clock; what you have to do, do quick.”

Beloved, you have to be intentional about your productivity from now: stop wasting time on social media or frivolities. Begin to acquire good skills that will come in handy in future for you.

HYMN 15 – ONWARD, CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS

1. Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before;
Christ, the Royal Master,
Leads against the foe;
Forward into battle,
See His banners go.

CHORUS
Onward, Christian soldiers!
Marching as to war,
Looking unto Jesus,
Who is gone before.

2. At the name of Jesus
Satan’s host doth Ilee;
On then, Christian soldiers
On to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver
At the shout of praise:
Brothers, lift your voices,
Loud your anthems raise.

3. Like a mighty army
Moves the Church of God:
Brothers, we are treading
Where the saints have trod.
We are not divided,
All one body we
One in hope and doctrine,
One in charity.

4. Crowns and thrones may perish
Kingdoms rise and wane;
But the Church of Jesus
Constant will remain:
Gates of hell can never
‘Gainst that church prevail;
We have Christ’s own promise-
And that cannot fail.

5. Onward then, ye people,
Join our happy throng;
Blend with ours your voices
In the triumph song:
“Glory, praise and honour,
Unto Christ the King”,
This, through countless ages,
Men and angels sing.
