Title: Begin Again
Memorize: Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Isaiah 43:18 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Isaiah 43:18-19 (Nkjv)
[18] Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.
[19] Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.
Message:
Beginning afresh is not just about leaving the past behind; Bit’s about embracing the future with optimism and courage.
As you step into the new year, remember to let go of your past and stay focused and committed to the path of your destiny in God.
Consistency is key to making progress, and small daily actions can lead to significant long-term results.
Celebrate every milestone, no matter how small, and let each achievement fuel your determination to move forward.
Furthermore, be open to new experiences and opportunities that may arise unexpectedly.
Embracing change often means stepping out of your comfort zone, and doing so can lead to remarkable personal and professional growth.
Lastly, surround yourself with positive influences and supportive people who will uplift and inspire you.
A strong support system can make a significant difference in your journey by providing encouragement during challenging times and celebrating your triumphs with you.
Reflection:
Think about your life and list the things that you can do differently in the new year.
HYMN 58 – MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING ELSE
1. My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness;
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
Refrain:
On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand,
All other ground is sinking sand.
2. When darkness seems to veils His face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil. [Refrain]
3. His oath, His covenant, and blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay. [Refrain]
4. When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
Dressed in His righteousness alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne. [Refrain]
