Title: Let Go
Memorize: Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. Ephesians 4:31 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Leviticus 19:18 (Nkjv)
[18] You shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.
Message:
Anger is a natural emotion that can become harmful when people allow it to linger in their hearts.
I have discovered that when someone holds on to anger, the person remains hurt and may also hurt others as a result.
For instance, some people commit suicide or murder, due to anger or the inability to forgive themselves or others for making a mistake.
My dear child, God is interested in the well-being of His children.
He wants them to surrender their hearts, hurts, pain, sorrow, mistakes, and every other thing that concerns them to Him completely.
When you surrender all to Him and call on Him wholeheartedly, He will lighten your heart and give you complete rest (Matthew 11:28-30).
My dear child, if perhaps you were hurt by someone you once trusted and have made up your mind to never forgive him or her, I urge you to open your heart to the Holy Spirit right now and ask Him to help you forgive that person.
This is because when you forgive him or her, a heavy burden will be lifted off your heart, and God’s peace will fill your heart.
May the Lord fill your heart with His peace, which surpasses all understanding, in Jesus’ name.
Reflection:
Forgiveness brings true freedom.
HYMN 3: ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER
1 All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2 All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine. [Refrain]
3 All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me. [Refrain
