Title: Be Clean

Memorize: Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. 2 Corinthians 7:1 (Nkjv)

Bible Reading (Nkjv): Exodus 19:10-11

[10] Then the Lord said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes.

[11] And let them be ready for the third day. For on the third day the Lord will come down upon Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people.

Message:

Be a child of God, you must resemble your Father, who is holy and clean, both within and without.

Anytime I read the description of God’s outward look in the book of Revelation, I am convinced that He is not dirty at all.

That is one of the reasons the twenty-four elders and other Heavenly beings enjoy staying in His presence to hail Him.

It’s common for teenagers to become less concerned about personal hygiene as they grow, especially when they’re no longer under their parent’s close watch.

As a mother, I’m very keen on hygiene because it is important that we keep our bodies clean to stay healthy and free of harmful germs that could cause diseases.

Poor hygiene can lead to tooth decay, skin infections, and constant visits to the hospital.

Good hygiene boosts your confidence as it allows you to interact with other people more positively.

It is unpleasant to be in close contact with someone who has mouth or body odor, therefore, endeavor to bathe twice a day and brush your teeth. If you have to use deodorant, please do.

Key Point:

Cleanliness limits your visits to the hospital.

HYMN 12 – HOLY, HOLY, HOLY! LORD GOD ALMIGHTY!

1. Holy, Holy, Holy!
Lord God Almighty!
Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to thee:
Holy, holy, holy,

Merciful and Mighty!
God in Three Persons,
Blessed, Trinity!

2. Holy, Holy, Holy!
All the saints adore Thee,
Casting down their golden crowns
Around the glassy sea:
Cherubim and seraphim
Falling down before Thee,
Which wert and art,
And evermore shalt be.

3. Holy, Holy, Holy!
Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eyes of sinful man
Thy glory may not see
Only thou art holy:
There is none beside Thee,
Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

4. Holy, Holy, Holy!
Lord God Almighty!
All thy works shall praise
Thy name, in earth and sky, and sea;
Holy, Holy, Holy,
Merciful and Mighty!
God in Three Persons,
Blessed, Trinity!
