Title: Tomorrow Will Be Alright
Memorize: Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance. Psalm 42:5 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Psalm 42:3-5 (Nkjv)
[3] My tears have been my food day and night, While they continually say to me, “Where is your God?”
[4] When I remember these things, I pour out my soul within me. For I used to go with the multitude; I went with them to the house of God, With the voice of joy and praise, With a multitude that kept a pilgrim feast.
[5] Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him For the help of His countenance.
Message:
In today’s memory verse, David told his soul to hope in the Lord. He also said that he would still praise God for His help. Anytime you feel there is no hope, you should tell yourself, “I am not going to end like this; one day, I too will testify of God’s help in my life.”
Many years ago, when my wife and I had just gotten married and things were tough, I would tell her, “Don’t worry, things won’t go on like this for long; our tomorrow will be alright.” Today, I can indeed say that God has been faithful; there is nothing that my God has not blessed me with. I pray for you today; your tomorrow will be alright, in Jesus’ name.
Beloved, don’t write yourself off. No matter the number of times you may have failed, you will succeed. Don’t give up on yourself, and don’t give up on God. He will answer you today as you call on Him.
Action Point:
For the next few minutes, ask God for the things that you need in your life.
Hymn 43 – Lead Us Heavenly Father, Lead Us
1 Lead Us, Heavenly Father, Lead Us
O’er The World’s Tempestuous Sea;
Guard Us, Guide Us, Keep Us, Feed Us,
For We Have No Help But Thee,
Yet Possessing Every Blessing
If Our God Our Father Be.
2 Saviour, Breathe Forgiveness O’er Us;
All Our Weakness Thou Dost Know;
Thou Didst Tread This Earth Before Us,
Thou Didst Feel Its Keenest Woe;
Lone And Dreary, Faint And Weary,
Through The Desert Thou Didst Go.
3 Spirit Of Our God, Descending,
Fill Our Hearts With Heavenly Joy,
Love With Every Passion Blending,
Pleasure That Can Never Cloy;
Thus Provided, Pardoned, Guided,
Nothing Can Our Peace Destroy.
