Title: Trust In God
Memorize: Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Jeremiah 17:7-8 (Nkjv)
[7] Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord.
[8] For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.
Message:
Many teenagers have been disappointed by some of the people they trusted, which has left them hurt.
They were ignorant of the fact that human beings are mere mortals who can fail or disappoint anyone.
The Almighty God, on the other hand, can never fail or disappoint anyone. This is why l encourage you today to never put your absolute trust in any man but in God.
The truth is that your parents, friends, and pastors are human beings who can disappoint you, even despite their best intentions. This is why you should trust God in their lives, rather than trusting in them absolutely.
God wants you to always trust and acknowledge Him in all areas of your life. He is unlimited and can help you in difficult situations.
Putting your trust in God means depending on Him completely, and it is His desire that you reach the point of total dependence on Him.
My dear child, when God sees that you trust Him, He will always step in to help you and take charge of any unpleasant situations you face.
Therefore, when you are weak and have no strength, find your strength in God. Commit your ways and plans to Him, ask Him to help you, and He will definitely come through for you.
Key Point:
When God sees that you trust Him, He’ll help you overcome every challenge that Comes your way.
HYMN 30: WHEN WE WALK WITH THE LORD
1 When we walk with the Lord
in the light of his word,
what a glory he sheds on our way!
While we do his good will,
he abides with us still,
and with all who will trust and obey.
Refrain:
Trust and obey, for there’s no other way
to be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
2 Not a burden we bear,
not a sorrow we share,
but our toil he doth richly repay;
not a grief or a loss,
not a frown or a cross,
but is blest if we trust and obey. [Refrain]
3 But we never can prove
the delights of his love
until all on the altar we lay;
for the favor he shows,
for the joy he bestows,
are for them who will trust and obey.
[Refrain]
4 Then in fellowship sweet
we will sit at his feet,
or we’ll walk by his side in the way;
what he says we will do,
where he sends we will go;
never fear, only trust and obey.
[Refrain]
