Title: Fountain Of Inspiration
Memorize: And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship, Exodus 31:3 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Exodus 31:1-6 (Nkjv)
[1] Then the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:
[2] “See, I have called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.
[3] And I have filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
[4] to design artistic works, to work in gold, in silver, in bronze,
[5] in cutting jewels for setting, in carving wood, and to work in all manner of workmanship.
[6] “And I, indeed I, have appointed with him Aholiab the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan; and I have put wisdom in the hearts of all the gifted artisans, that they may make all that I have commanded you:
Message:
People get inspired by listening to motivational speeches, studying prominent men and women, and reading books.
However, the Holy Spirit remains the greatest fountain of inspiration.
Anybody with the Holy Spirit living in him or her can conceive great ideas that will turn the world around for good.
For example, the Bible tells us about a man called Uzziah. He invented an engine that was used as a missile in war.
2 Chronicles 26:15 says: And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal.
And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvelously helped, till he was strong.
Uzziah was able to invent the engine because his inspiration was from God.
My dear child, are you studying medicine in school? God can help you to discover cures to many diseases.
Are you eyeing the business industry? You can develop many business ideas that will take many people out of poverty. However, you need to make the Holy Spirit your friend.
Key Point:
Is the Holy Spirit your friend?
HYMN: MOST ANCIENT OF ALL MYSTERIES
1 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Before Thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.
2 When heav’n and earth were yet unmade,
When time was yet unknown,
Thou in Thy bliss and majesty
Didst live and love alone.
3 Thou wert not born; there was no fount
From which Thy Being flowed;
There is no end which Thou canst reach;
But ThoU art simply God.
4 How wonderful creation is,
The work which Thou didst bless,
And O what then must Thou be like,
Eternal loveliness!
5 0 listen then, most pitiful,
To Thy poor creature’s heart:
It blesses Thee that Thou art God,
That Thou art what ThoU art.
6 Most ancient of all mysteries,
Still at thy throne we lie;
Have mercy now, most merciful,
Most holy Trinity.
