TOPIC: KNOW WHO YOU ARE
MEMORISE: But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: 1 Peter 2:9
BIBLE READING : Psalms 139:13 -14
- For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother’s womb.
- I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvelous are thy works; and that my soul know right well.
MESSAGE:
A king’s son who doesn’t know who he is will beg for food even in his father’s palace.
My dear child, I want you to know who you are, and one way to do that is by searching the Scriptures.
When you do this, you will see yourself the way God sees you.
Many children of God give in to the voice of the devil because they don’t know who they are.
Sometimes, the devil will tell you that you are not good enough to be at the top or achieve your goals.
Whenever he tells you this, laugh and quote Deuteronomy 28:13 to him: “And the LORD shall make thee the head, and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath…”
The only space available for you as a child of God is above, and you will take your place, in Jesus’ name.
My beloved child, do not let the lies of the devil dictate your actions; his words must not shape what you believe about yourself.
Confess positive words from the Scriptures and watch your life change for the better.
CONFESSION:
I am who God says I am. I am victorious through the blood of Jesus. I am above and not beneath.
HYMN 12 :
ONWARD CHRISTIAN SOLDIERS
1 Onward, Christian
soldiers, marching as to War,
With the cross of Jesus going on before!
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle, see his banner go!
Refrain:
Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of JesUs going on before!
2 At the name of Jesus Satan’s host doth flee;
On, then, Christian soldiers, on to victory!
Hell’s foundations quiver at the shout of praise;
Brothers, lift your voices, loud your anthems raise!
3 Like a mighty army moves the church of God:
Brothers, we are treading
where the saints have trod;
We are not divided; all one body we,
One in hope and doctrine, one in charity.
4 Crowns and thrones may perish,
Kingdoms rise and wane;
But the church Jesus constant will remain:
Gates of hell can never ‘gainst that church prevail
We have Christ’s own promise and that cannot fail
5 0nward, then, ye people,
join our happy throng,
Blend with ours your voices,
in the triumph song;
Glory, praise and honour,
unto Christ the King;
This through countless ages,
men and angels sing.
