TOPIC: The Battle In Your Mind
MEMORISE: Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 2 Corinthians 10:5
BIBLE READING: 1 Peter 2:9
9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
MESSAGE:
Some of the fiercest battles a human being will fight will not be fought with swords or fists but in the mind. You may hear whispers telling you that you’re not good, smart, or loved enough, but those are lies from the enemy.Christian Living Resources
One of satan’s greatest deceptions is attacking people’s identity and self-worth. That’s why some individuals are confused about who they are, believing they were created in the wrong body. This distortion of identity is not from God but from the enemy, whose mission is to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). You Can, however, Overcome the lies of the enemy by filling your mind with God’s truth.
My dear child, God’s word is your weapon, and you must use it to guard your mind. The next time you feel discouraged, Overwhelmed, or tempted to doubt who God says you are, turn to the Scriptures. Search for His promises, confess them over your life, and let them shape your thoughts. Train your mind to align with what God says about you because you are loved, chosen, and victorious in Christ.
CONFESSION:
I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a child of God.
HYMN 55: Christian, Seek Not Yet Repose
1 Christian, Seek Not Yet Repose;
Hear Thy Guardian Angel Say,
“Thou Art In The Midst Of Foes:
Watch And Pray!”
2 Principalities And Powers,
Mustering Their Unseen Array,
Wait For Thy Unguarded Hours:
“Watch And Pray.”
3 Gird Thy Heavenly Armour On;
Wear It Every Night And Day
Ambush’d Lies The Evil One:
“Watch And Pray.”
4 Hear The Victors Who O’ercame;
Still They Mark Each Warrior’s Way;
All With One Sweet Voice Exclaim,
“Watch And Pray!”
5 Hear, Above AlI, Hear Thy Lord,
Him Thou Lovest To Obey;
Hide Within Thy Heart His Word:
“Watch And Pra!.”
6 Watch, As If On That Alone
Hung The Issue Of The Day;
Pray, That Help May Be Sent Down:
Watch And Pray.
