Title: Flee Lust
Memorize: Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul, 1 Peter 2:11 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 6:15-20 (Nkjv)
[15] Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a harlot? Certainly not!
[16] Or do you not know that he who is joined to a harlot is one body with her? For “the two,” He says, “shall become one flesh.”
[17] But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit with Him.
[18] Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.
[19] Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own?
[20] For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Message:
Lust is an intense desire, and it is a sin L that leads people away from God. It does not develop overnight; it grows from unchecked thoughts and repeated exposure to immoral influences. To be truly free from lust, one must surrender completely to Jesus Christ and flee every appearance of evil (1 Thessalonians 5:22).
Anyone who wants to be free from lust must make deliberate efforts. When I gave my life to Christ, I had to let go of habits and friendships that encouraged sinful behaviours. It was not an instant change, but as | stayed Committed to the word of God and sought the Lord’s help, I was able to let go of those habits and relationships.
My dear child, if you have friends who lead you into temptation, it is necessary to distance yourself from them. Also, if the media Content you are exposed to stirs impure thoughts in you, make a conscious choice to avoid it. Just as lust builds up over time, breaking free from lust involves a gradual but consistent process. Those who want to be completely free from lust must take intentional steps to guard their minds, choose their company wisely. flee tempting situations, and immerse themselves in God’s Word at all times.
Key Point:
Stay away from anything that fuels lustful thoughts and desires.

1 Ho, my comrades! see the signal
Waving in the sky!
Reinforcements now appearing,
Victory is nigh!
Chorus
“Hold the fort, for I am coming,”
Jesus signals still,
Wave the answer back to heaven,
“By Thy grace we will, “
2 See the mighty host advancing
Satan leading on:
Mighty men around us falling,
Courage almost gone!
3 See the glorious banner waving!
Hear the trumpet blow!
In our Leader’s name we’ll triumph
Over ev’ry foe!
4 Fierce and long the battle rages,
But our help is near:
Onward comes our great
commander,
Cheer, my comrades, cheer!
