Title: Don’t Go To Hell
Memorize: And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. Matthew 25:46 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Matthew 25:40-46 (Nkjv)
[40] And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
[41] “Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels:
[42] for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink;
[43] I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
[44] “Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’
[45] Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’
[46] And these will go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
Message:
Hell is the eternal place of punishment for those who reject God. Just as heaven is real, so is hell. Either destination is determined by the choices we make here on earth: heaven for the righteous and hell for the unrighteous. We have heard of some people who died, came back to life, and gave accounts of the things they saw in heaven and hell. Even though some of those testimonies were vivid, many people still do not believe that there is heaven or hell. The truth is that everyone on earth will spend eternity in one of those two places.
I usually tell my children that it’s better for them to have served God all their lives and later find out that there is no heaven or hell than to have lived recklessly only to discover that hell would be their destination. Hell is not a place God desires for anyone to go; it is reserved only for those who reject His gift of salvation. God loves everyone, which is why He offers us the opportunity to receive eternal life through Jesus Christ.
My dear child, please surrender your life to Jesus today if you haven’t, and ensure that you follow Him daily. Also, share the message of salvation with your friends, family, and neighbours who are still unsaved so that they too can escape eternal damnation.
Action Point:
Give your life to Jesus right now if you have yet to do so. If you are already saved, preach the gospel to at least two people today.
HYMN 3: ALL TO JESUS I SURRENDER
1 All to Jesus I surrender,
All to Him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust Him,
In His presence daily live.
Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all;
All to Thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.
2 All to Jesus I surrender,
Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;
Let me feel Thy Holy Spirit,
Truly know that Thou art mine. [Refrain]
3 All to Jesus I surrender,
Lord, I give myself to Thee;
Fill me with Thy love and power,
Let Thy blessing fall on me. [Refrain]
