Title: Understanding Deep Things
Memorize: But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:10 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Daniel 2:1-19 (Nkjv)
[1] Now in the second year of Nebuchadnezzar’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and his spirit was so troubled that his sleep left him.
[2] Then the king gave the command to call the magicians, the astrologers, the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans to tell the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.
[3] And the king said to them, “I have had a dream, and my spirit is anxious to know the dream.”
. . .
Message:
In today’s Bible reading, Nebuchadnezzar had a dream he could not remember, let alone make sense of.
He sought help from his astrologers and magicians, but none of them could tell him his dream or provide an interpretation.
Therefore, he ordered that they all be executed. When Daniel heard about the decree of the king, he gathered his friends, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego together.
They prayed and sought the face of the Lord concerning the king’s dream, and that same night, the Lord revealed the dream to Daniel in a vision. That is the power of prayers.
If you are a child of God, He will reveal mysteries and secrets to you. He will show you things you do not know about your life and destiny.
If He revealed the dream of another person to Daniel, He can reveal much more to you about your own life.
Sometimes, a revelation from the Lord is all you need to avert a looming disaster and shut down the plans of the enemy.
My dear child, before you can become a person who understands deep things and receives vision from God, you must be willing to spend quality time in fellowship with Him.
Thirst to know Him more through His word and in the place of prayer, and He will show you great and mighty things which you do not know (Jeremiah 33:3).
Prayer Point:
Father, please reveal secrets about my destiny to me, in Jesus’ name.
HYMN 43: LEAD US HEAVENLY FATHER, LEAD US
1 Lead Us, Heavenly Father, Lead Us
O’er The World’s Tempestuous Sea;
Guard Us, Guide Us, Keep Us, Feed Us,
For We Have No Help But Thee,
Yet Possessing Every Blessing
If Our God Our Father Be.
2 Saviour, Breathe Forgiveness O’er Us;
All Our Weakness Thou Dost Know;
Thou Didst Tread This Earth Before Us,
Thou Didst Feel lts Keenest Woe;
Lone And Dreary, Faint And Weary,
Through The Desert Thou Didst Go.
3 Spirit Of Our God, Descending,
Fill Our Hearts With Heavenly Joy,
Love With Every Passion Blending,
Pleasure That Can Never Cloy;
Thus Provided, Pardoned, Guided,
Nothing Can Our Peace Destroy.
