TOPIC: GROW BEFORE DATING
MEMORISE: Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23
BIBLE READING: 1 THESSALONIANS 4:3-4

4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
MESSAGE:
Dating is one of the most debated topics among Christian teenagers and youth these days.
This is because there are so many mindsets and beliefs about dating.
My dear child, let me inform you that dating is not for children or teenagers.
One must attain a level of maturity in all areas before thinking of going on dates: spiritual, financial, mental, emotional, and so on.
This is why I always encourage my teenage daughters to stay focused on their personal growth and career aspirations, rather than becoming distracted by relationships.
These days, I have heard that young men ask ladies they are dating a question, “What are you bringing to the table?”
My dear child, whether you are a boy or a girl, don’t wait until you are asked, ‘What are you bringing to the table?’
Focus on building yourself up in every aspect of life so that when you meet the right person and are ready to settle down in marriage, he or she already knows that you are a person of value and substance.
Quiz:
According to Proverbs 4:23, what should you keep with all diligence?
