Title: You Need God’s Help
Memorize: My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2 (Nkjv)
Bible Reading: Psalm 46:1-3 (Nkjv)
[1] God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.
[2] Therefore we will not fear, Even though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
[3] Though its waters roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with its swelling. Selah
Message:
Today, many young people believe that they can handle life on their own. They rely on their knowledge, strength, and abilities to achieve greatness. What they do not know, however, is that there are far greater heights and blessings waiting for them if they seek God’s help.
My dear child, if you rely solely on your strength, you will eventually feel weak and frustrated. This is why it is essential to continually seek God’s help in everything you do. With God’s help, life becomes easier, and you can accomplish more than you can ever imagine. With God’s help, whatever burdens you may be carrying will no longer be yours to carry alone; He will lift them for you and carry you on His wings. Many years ago, in my eagerness to see the church grow, I relied so much on my strength alone. After a while, I started to notice grey hairs on my head even though I was still young. When I asked God why that was so, He said, “Are you not the one who is trying to do everything all by yourself?” From that moment, I surrendered everything to Him, and the church has grown far more than ever expected without me having to stress myself unduly.
Beloved, you need God’s help in every area of your life. Keep your eyes fixed on Him and trust that He will raise the right helpers for you. Don’t rely solely on men for help, look to God who is the Source of all help.
